Review: The Vitamine E Body Shop skincare range

After taking the little test/diagnostic about my skin type on the Body Shop website - I love me a little quizz - I decided to try the skincare they suggested. They orientated me towards the Vitamine E range. Indeed, I have sensitive and dehydrated skin, and I'm in my mid/late 20s, and I need to take care of my face more seriously now! Oops! I also realized that I had 2 times 5  coupons on my Body Shop card - they are not cheap with coupons - because it was my birthday month! Hallelujah! One more excuse to go shopping.

What I would repurchase:
It comes with a pump, and the product is a very light texture. A little amount goes a long way, you don't need much to cover your whole face. I put it on after my toner and before my day-time moisturizer. I sticked to that routine for a month, and you all know how hard it is to stick to a morning routine! I'm definitely convinced by this serum, but I don't have much to compare it too, because I have to admit, it's the first daytime serum I ever used! I am very satisfied with it though.

The texture of this cream is amazing. A-ma-zing. It smells good, it's so light, fresh, non-sticky, sinks in so easily, I'm in love. After a few seconds, it feel like I have nothing on my skin, and I can add a BB cream, a foundation or leave it as that without anything caking up. I hate thick day creams, I just feel already dirty, sticky and sweaty when I wear those. Yurk. With this "sorbet", my skin is also very hydrated. I have a few dry patches on my cheeks, and after a month of using the Vitamine E Moisture Serum and the Aqua Boost Sorbet together, they disappeared! Always a very good sign.

What I liked, but I still would want to browse the world of skincare for something better:
* Special Edition Vitamine E Overnight Serum-In-Oil. First, let's be honest, the packaging is so much fun! The UK flag, the nice soft pink. You have a very good amount of product for the price, and the result after a night of sleep is obvious. I found myself to have a more even and softer skin. It's a great product, but I put it in the "unsure" list because I know there are so many more night oils on the market, and I cannot commit to this one yet.

* Vitamine E Intense Moisture Cream - Very Dry Skin. Continuously nourishes, protects and locks in moisture.Ok, I have to admit it, I meant to buy the Vitamine E night cream! But this packaging was the darkest, so I got confused, and ended up with another day-time moisturizer. However, I'm not mad at that! It's actually a great moisturizer, very creamy, and gives intense hydration! It's a bit too rich for me underneath makeup, but on an no-makeup-day, I apply it on my skin and it feels great. I also sometimes put it on as a night cream. Why not?! Plan B!

In the future, I would like to purchase some Estée Lauder or Kiehl's products next to take care of my skin, but let's be honest, it's a difference price range! For now, The Body Shop products are cool with me, and the fact that they stay a cruelty free brand makes me stick to them even more.
